The beginning of Erin and Graham’s journey started in the portable trailers outside of the TCU business school. They met as co-workers in the nerdy IT major club, Graham as an overpowering president and Erin as a reluctant subordinate.
For a semester, their interactions were limited to the occasional group meeting or passing by in the hallway until graduation. Graham, in his glorious timing, decided to start talking to Erin just before her internship in Phoenix, Arizona. Friendly at first, it quickly turned into a long-distance romance.
In the fall of 2019, Graham flew back to Fort Worth, Texas, to relive the glory days during Erin’s senior year of college. Erin did not plan on spending her senior year of college in a long-distance relationship, flying back and forth from Kansas City to Fort Worth, but Graham quickly grew on her. At the end of the year, it was time to figure out the future. Erin had accepted a job at Microsoft and attempted to bring Graham 3000 miles away to Seattle, Washington. While COVID-19 brought many challenges, it fortunately allowed Graham and Erin to both move to Dallas to begin dating in the same city together.
After spending several years together, Graham planned the perfect proposal: fall, Napa Valley, 60 degrees, private hot air balloon ride, without a cloud in sight. Graham proposed 2,000 feet above wine country in the Napa Valley, a picture-perfect proposal to which Erin said yes.
Graham and Erin just purchased their first home together and are looking forward to life as a married couple with their fur child, Milo.
